HI, I’M DAVID

I’ve been a photographer for the last 15 years. I have a background in film (I studied it at university) and then, after a time, moved into photography. I’ve worked in lots of areas of photography - events, weddings, behind the scenes on film sets, brand PR, products, portraits - eventually I settled into portrait work and then headshots.

Through my time as a London Headshot Photographer, I’ve photographed thousands of people. Usually I work with people who don’t like having their photo taken (I’m the same! that’s why I’ll normally rope in my cat…) and the thought of a whole headshot session dedicated to just that makes them feel anxious, scared and/or vulnerable.

Its ok to feel that way!

A lot of what I do, and enjoy doing, is getting to know you. I want to know what drives you, how you got to where you are and where you want to go next - by connecting with, and understanding you, I can focus the session on your needs and help you have a relaxed and, believe it or not, a fun time!

A few years ago I started to think about how I could use what I knew about listening, connecting and understanding to help people in another way, so I trained and became a BACP registered therapist. I started Roles We Play as a counselling service to work with people to make positive changes in their lives.
